Cameron McKinzie, PharmD, BCPPS, BCPS, CPP is a pediatric pulmonary clinical pharmacist practitioner at the University of North Carolina Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC, primarily caring for pediatric CF and interstitial lung disease patients. She received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy in 2012, and completed her PGY1 and PGY2 residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She is a board certified pediatric pharmacy and pharmacotherapy specialist. Her areas of interest include optimizing medication toxicity monitoring, treatment of nontuberculous mycobacteria, pharmacogenomics and individualized dosing approaches, and defining and enhancing the role of the pharmacist as part of the multidisciplinary care team.
