Join us for an engaging and interactive session of Gut Games, where participants will test their knowledge on gastroenterology and nutrition in people with cystic fibrosis. This trivia style game will feature a series of challenging questions covering a range of topics including digestive disorders, nutritional interventions, and the latest advancements in CF management.

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their expertise, learn from their peers, and gain valuable insights into optimizing gastrointestinal health and nutrition for individuals with CF. Don't miss this fun and educational experience at NACFC!

Learning Objectives:

  • Enhance Understanding of Gastrointestinal Complications: Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the common GI complications associated with CF, including pancreatic insufficiency, intestinal obstruction, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
  • Explore Evidence-Based Nutrition Strategies: Attendees will explore evidence-based nutrition strategies for managing CF-related digestive issues, such as enzyme replacement therapy, high-calorie diets, and specialized nutritional supplements.
  • Foster Interdisciplinary Collaboration: The session will foster interdisciplinary collaboration by encouraging participants to work together in teams, promoting communication and knowledge sharing among healthcare professionals involved in the care of individuals with CF.
