Senthil Sankararaman, MD is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics, at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, USA. He completed his pediatric residency at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Shreveport, USA, and a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and later joined there as faculty. He also completed a fellowship in advanced clinical nutrition at the Nestle Nutrition Institute. He is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology and is a diplomate of the National Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists (NBPNS) and the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM). He also received the DIGEST award from the CFF. He is an editorial board member of the AAP journal, Pediatrics. Dr. Sankararaman is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and a member of the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) and North American Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition (NASPGHAN). He serves on various committees in ASPEN and NASPGHAN and also contributes as a reviewer in many journals.
