Off-label prenatal use of elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor (ETI) is an evolving practice that may offer remarkable outcomes for some and is increasing in frequency. This practice is fraught with medical and ethical unknowns as well as logistical hurdles. Additionally, post-natal management of the ETI-exposed infant has little available data to guide practitioners. This session will include brief presentations from physicians with experience with both pre- and post-natal ETI management, open discussion for information and experience sharing, and discussion of future direction to advance this area of CF care.

Learning Objectives:

Describe the current collective experience with pre-natal use and post-natal management of ETI.
Create familiarity with resources available to assist in guiding ETI use before and after pregnancy.
Discuss which clinical markers may be important in guiding maternal and infant management (e.g. fecal elastase, lipase, sweat chloride, transaminases). Broach next steps in refining this practice approach and the interconnection with prenatal care.
