Aaron Trimble, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, he recieved his undergraduate education from Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia followed by medical school at the University of Virginia. He remained in Charlottesville for residency before heading to Chapel Hill, North Carolina for fellowship in pulmonary & critical care medicine, with a particular interest in cystic fibrosis. While there, he worked under the mentorship of Scott Donaldson performing clinical research studies on mocuciliary clearance. He also developed an interest in reproductive health effects of modulator therapies. After completing fellowship, moved to the Pacific Northwest at OHSU in August 2018. He is currently the adult program and TDC director, with a parcular research interest in reproductive health. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, photography, cooking, and spending time with his wife and three young boys.
