Claire Adeline Haglund, PhD, LMSW, MMT, Clinical Social Worker, Children's Hospital of Michigan.
Dr. Haglund is a licensed clinical social worker, professor, researcher and music therapist located in Detroit Michigan. She has successfully published a range of papers and studies focusing on topics ranging from chronic illness, psychodynamic music therapy, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and mixed methodological studies focusing on collaborative health care between specialties. Dr. Haglund, has successfully wrote, obtained, and maintained research grants for the past decade focusing on health care disparities and the intersection of chronic/terminal pediatric illness. She is a founding member of the American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work Child and Adolescent Town Hall. Most recently, Dr. Haglund was awarded a three year post doctoral research fellowship to continue to her work on health disparities and terminal/chronic illness. Outside of work Dr. Haglund enjoys spending time with family, playing the violin, yoga, reading, and spending time in nature.
