Angel Maree Jones is a Pediatric Pulmonary Clinical Dietitian working at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles where she is responsible for the inpatient and outpatient care of pediatric patients with cystic fibrosis. She is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University San Luis Obispo and completed her Dietetic Internship at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. She has more than 10 years of experience as a clinical dietitian, with over 7 years specializing in cystic fibrosis nutrition for pediatrics & adults in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and has received an Advanced Cystic Fibrosis Dietitian Certification. Angel is an active member of the CF community and was honored by the Los Angeles CFF Chapter as a 2022 honoree at L.A.’s Finest. She completed a CF Foundation Mentorship in 2019 matching with UCSF. Angel Maree has presented on CF nutrition at the 2020 California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Conference, the 2020 & 2021 UCLA Cystic Fibrosis Symposiums, UCLA GI Fellow practicums, and hosted roundtables at the Cystic Fibrosis Dietitian and Social Worker Consortium. In 2020 she participated in the guideline review of the update of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Evidence Analysis Library for CF nutrition. At the 34th NACFC she presented the poster presentation, "Nutritional algorithm to improve BMI of CF patients at nutritional risk/failure". In her free time Angel loves a good book, spoiling her Persian cat Bea Arthur, and growing herbs and vegetables.
