Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital
Eric Schleich, MSW, LCSW, CCLS is the Mental Health Coordinator in the CF clinic at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital in St. Setersburg, Florida. He has served in this capacity since 2016, after being awarded the Mental Health Coordinator Grant in 2016. His role includes mental health screenings, brief intervention, psychoeducation, and referral to community mental health services. He also is involved in reducing trauma in clinic via trauma informed psychological preparation before invasive care. He also carries a small caseload of patients for telehealth counseling. He has presented posters specific to CF and mental health research during past NACFC conferences. in 2019 and 2022, and 2023 he was selected as a mentor for new Mental Health Coordinators. He also served as the Advocacy Chair for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Tampa Bay Chapter, and coordinates John's Hopkins All hildren's Hospital team participation in Great Strides.
