S14--Alphabet Soup: PFT-GLI-MBW-LCI

This session will update attendees on the latest in pulmonary function. Attendees will learn about PFT interpretation, how to utilize the GLI Global reference equations, how to become a certified LCI center, what is a MBW test, and how can you utilize FOT.

Learning Objectives:

  • Attendees will be able to describe and explain the use of FOT (forced ossccilatory technique.
  • Attendees will be able to understand how to interpret PFT testing using the LLN and z-scores. Attendees will also be able explain the use of GLI Global Race Neutral reference equations.
  • Lastly, attendees will be able to identify the use of LCI and understand how to operate a multiple breath washout test.
