The Leading the Pack: Nutrition Research session will cover the impact of CFTR modulators on clinical outcomes including gastrointestinal symptoms, pancreatic function, intestinal inflammation and lipid profiles. The session will also examine the relationship between PPI use and fat absorption. Finally, the session will explore the opportunities for dietitians to be involved in clinical research and partner with CF research teams. Speakers for this session will be discussing results from several large, multi-center research studies including PROMISE, BEGIN, and GOAL.
