This workshop highlights recent advances in the understanding of host-pathogen and pathogen-pathogen interactions in the development of CF airway infection. Abstracts selected for presentation address emerging concepts in infection pathogenesis, particularly how interactions among the host, bacteria, viruses, and fungi shape pathogen persistence and virulence in the lung.
