This discipline group session addresses challenges associated with CFTR modulators. We will explore weight issues associated with ETI, discuss therapeutic drug monitoring and its role in assessing modulator adherence, and examine barriers to CFTR medication access. We will also explore a case of ETI exposure in a premature infant.

Learning Objectives:

  • Summarize the role of CFTR modulators in weight gain and discuss management strategies.
  • Identify CFTR modulator access issues within the CF community and discuss approaches in overcoming barriers and addressing adherence.
  • Examine opportuniities for pre- and postnatal care in infants exposed to ETI.
