Strengthening multidisciplinary care is important to build trust within the care team staff and the families we serve. Many care teams experienced high turnovers during the pandemic, resulting in new faces and change in roles. In this session we will highlight strategies including Relational Coordination (RC) and communication tools/skills for building a robust team. Other strategies may include new disciplines that were not in the traditional model. We will incorporate a panel of non-traditional disciplines in efforts to enhance the dynamic of the care team for a more rich and interactive discussion.

Describe the importance of building a robust multidisciplinary care team.
Identify the role of each member through Relational Coordination and communication tools/skills.
Discover potential relationships from non-traditional CF core disciplines.
