Stacy Bichl is a pediatric nurse practitioner at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, IL. She received her Masters’ degree in nursing from the University of Illinois, has dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Nursing and Chemistry and is certified as Pediatric nurse practitioner, asthma educator and health coach. She has practiced in nursing and the care of children for over 30 years, with 20 + years as an APN in the pulmonary division at Lurie Children’s Hospital. She has been integrally involved in many local and national QI initiatives with the North American CF Foundation, is recognized as a national leader for advanced practice nursing in CF, and currently serves as a mentor for the CFF “LEAPP” Fellowship program for APPs. Stacy has participated in numerous educational programs, NACFC presentations and has authored several publications and numerous posters over the past 2 decades. She coordinates the CF newborn screen and transition programs at Lurie and is a primary CF provider to a large segment of children and adolescents at the Lurie Childrens CF Center.
