Madeline Sanders is a fourth-year PhD student in Dr. Paul Beringer’s lab at the University of Southern California Alfred E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, Ms. Sanders shifted her focus to clinical and translational science. Her research now focuses on multipronged targeting of antibiotic therapy for nontuberculosis mycobacterial pulmonary disease in cystic fibrosis, utilizing advanced pharmacokinetic and physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling techniques to optimize treatment strategies and improve patient outcomes. Attending this conference for the second time as both a workshop presenter and participant, she is eager to engage with leading experts and exchange insights that will inform her ongoing research.
