Katherine Tuggle

Katherine Tuggle received her Ph.D. in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2012. She is currently a postdoctoral trainee in the UAB CF research center where her research is focused on development and characterization of CF rat models for cystic fibrosis research and high-throughput screening for F508del corrector molecules. Her research interests include environmental and gene interactions during lung development and their role in lung disease, animal models of CF, and drug discovery.
