Jane Gross, MD PhD is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Medicine, Divisions of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine and Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at National Jewish Health. Dr. Gross completed her doctor of philosophy in Oral Biology at the University of North Carolina. She received her medical degree at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and Pediatric Residency training at Tripler Army Medical Center. She went on to complete her fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonology at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Gross served as an active duty Army physician for 14 years, reaching the rank of Colonel and working in a variety of roles as a physician in the U.S. Army, including deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom-Philippines and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Currently, Dr. Gross provides care for pediatric pulmonology patients and young adults with cystic fibrosis. Her research interest is in understanding acquisition and transmission of nontuberculous mycobacteria among people with cystic fibrosis.
