Children's Minnesota
Mary Sachs, APRN, CNP is a nurse practioner and is a co-coordinator for the cystic fibrosis and primary ciliary programs at Children's Minnesota. Mary is a graduate of the University of Iowa and has a bachelor of science degree in nursing and also a master of science degree in nursing and pediatric nurse practitioner certificate from the University of Texas at Arlington. As a nurse practitioner at Children’s, she currently coordinates the CF annual clinic and also is a provider in the newborn screen clinic seeing over 130 infants per year who screen positive for cystic fibrosis. Special interests within the CF program include patients with CFRD as part of an interdisciplinary team that meets bi-monthly. Mary is also an active part of the Children’s research team and has been a sub-investigator for multiple clinical and observational trials involving patients with Cystic fibrosis. Lastly, Mary also sees patients in the primary care clinic on the St. Paul campus at Children’s.
