Health inequities and social injustices are a part of our past and present. Research tells the story and so does the voices of those impacted the most. There is much talk about inequities and making change, yet very little action is often taken. Things are being “DONE” to address inequities in CF Care. This session highlights initiatives “DOING” things to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. The session will provide the audience with strategies that can be implemented at the personal, patient, team, and/or clinic level to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop a broader awareness of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives in CF.
  • Identify practical strategies that can be implemented to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
  • Illustrate self-reflection on ways to engage in diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging initiatives.
