Vanessa Diamond is a recent graduate from the University of British Columbia (UBC). Vanessa trained in Biology during her undergraduate degree and has just completed her Master of Science in Experimental Medicine, both at UBC. During her masters she conducted research at BC Children's Hospital Research Institute under the supervision of Dr. Jonathan Rayment. Her work focuses on better understanding of functional pulmonary imaging outcome measures in CF. Here at NACFC 2023, she presents work using hyperpolarized 129Xe magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to monitor lung function in children after their first month on ETI therapy.
