Jordana McMurray is currently a PhD candidate at the Lawrence Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto. Her research is focussed on sleep and mood in adolescents and young adults with cystic fibrosis. Her interest in this population stems from her previous clinical background in pediatric respiratory medicine where she worked predominantly with children and families affected by cystic fibrosis. Prior to joining the PhD program, Jordana held a faculty appointment as a lecturer in the undergraduate program at Bloomberg Nursing for nine years. She has published in the Journal of Cystic Fibrosis, Behavioural Sleep Medicine, Brain Research and Neuroscience. After completion of the doctoral program, she hopes to begin a program of research directed towards improving quality of life for individuals affected by cystic fibrosis.
