Amy Van Zee, LMSW

Amy Van Zee is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Senior Clinical Social Worker with the Lung Transplant Team at Michigan Medicine. With 18 years of experience as a social worker in healthcare—and over a decade devoted specifically to lung transplant care—Amy brings deep expertise, compassion, and dedication to her role.She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work, and considers it a privilege to walk alongside individuals and families throughout the transplant journey. From initial evaluation to extensive and robust post-transplant care, Amy offers empathetic support, advocacy, and guidance every step of the way.
