Josephine Ackah-Cudjoe is a Biomedical Engineering PhD student at the University of British Columbia. She is studying under Dr Jane Hill's guidance in the Chemical and Biological Engineering Department. Her research interests include rapid diagnostics, biomarker discovery, breath analysis, and respiratory infections. Her current research focuses on exploring exhaled breath as an alternative for detecting and monitoring lung infections in cystic fibrosis. She hopes to contribute to the body of knowledge in this field and support in translating breathomics into the clinical setting for efficient, noninvasive, and rapid medical diagnostics.
