Holding a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from the Faculty of Chemical Sciences of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH), graduated by research thesis with honors, and with six years of experience in research, and professional expertise. During my rol as a Research Technician for the Molecular Biology Research Lab from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, I proved to be an efficient, responsible, and meticulous technician. My value quickly became apparent and I was in charge of several projects to manage, including SNP genotyping related to metabolic disorders, HPV genotyping and viral detection in tomato plants in collaboration with other faculties in the same university. Currently I am in my Ph. D. degree at the University of Saskatchewan where my research project fouses in the molecular mechanims involved in CF. I believe that research is fundamental for providing solutions and assure patients’ wellbeing, and my extensive expertise will help ensure that research contribute to society.
