Jessica R. Balcom, MS, CGC, MS, CGC (she/her/hers)

Mayo Clinic

Jessica Balcom, MS, CGC (she/her/hers) is a Licensed, Certified Genetic Counselor and Assistant Professor of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology in the College of Medicine at Mayo Clinic. Jessica manages a team of twenty-five laboratory genetic counselors, genetic counseling assistants, and variant scientists at Mayo. Jessica developed the genetic counselor role in Mayo Clinic's accredited CF Care Center and has over ten years of CF speciality experience with adult, pediatric, and newborn screening populations. Jessica is a current member and past chair of the CF Special Interest Group of the National Society of Genetic Counselors.
