Andrew Potter, MS, is a bioinformatician at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. He received his Bachelors of Science in Food and Nutrition at the University of Cincinnati in 2008, and masters in Human Science at Texas A&M - Kingsville in 2009. He joined CCHMC as a research assistant in 2011. He helped implement single cell and spatial RNA-seq technology as core services at CCHMC, including DropSeq and Visium platforms. He also helped develop cold-active dissociation proctols, to mitigate gene expression changes which may occur in single cell preps with incubation at 37 C, with funding from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. He also has experience with single cell and bulk RNA-seq data analysis, perfroming comprehensive analysis of gene expression changes which occur in lung allograft during Acute Cellular Rejection.
