Jessie Roach received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011 Ohio University and Master of Science in Nursing in Nursing in 2015 from the University of Cincinnati. She started her career as a nurse at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in 2009, which she continued until she became a pediatric nurse practitioner for the Pulmonary division in 2015. She initially specialized in the care of children who were trach and ventilator dependent, then started covering the complex pulmonary service in 2019, caring for people with CF admitted to the hospital. She became the CF Center Coordinator in 2021, mid-pandemic, where she coordinates the care of over 230 pediatric patients with CF. She leads the abnormal newborn screen program, oversees sweat testing and is a Quality Improvement Leader within the CF Learning Network. She works closely with the Central Ohio Chapter of the CF Foundation and advocates for people with CF as a congressional captain.
