Rachel Salyer, PhD is a post-doctoral Research Coordinator for PRIDE CF Project 3 under the direction of Kacie Kidd, MD, MS. Upon completion of her PhD in Kinesiology and Graduate Certificate in Interdisciplinary Qualitative Studies at the University of Georgia, Dr. Salyer joined West Virginia University’s Department of Medicine as a post-doctoral Research Analyst. In this role, Dr. Salyer helped residents, fellows, and faculty design, implement, analyze, and disseminate numerous research and quality improvement projects. Currently, Dr. Salyer lends her mixed methods and qualitative research expertise to Dr. Kidd’s CFF funded project as a post-doctoral Research Coordinator. The PRIDE CF Study is a series of Health Equity Team Science Awards focused on understanding the needs of LGBTQIA+ people with CF.
