Ying-Tsun Chen (Sam) is a clinical pharmacist by training, currently serving as a lab manager for Alice Prince's lab and Sebastian Riquelme's lab at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Driven by a passion for finding solutions for infectious diseases caused by bacteria, Ying-Tsun joined Dr. Prince and Dr. Riquelme's research groups to study how intractable bacterial infections damage airways in patients, such as those with cystic fibrosis. Currently, Ying-Tsun is focusing on a project to elucidate the impact of triple therapy on airway cell populations and bacterial pathogens.
