Dr. Celeste Riepe is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Biology at Stanford University in the laboratory of Ron Kopito. Her research employs functional genomics and CRISPR/Cas9 screens to uncover protein quality control pathways that regulate the stability and trafficking of CFTR. Prior to joining the Kopito laboratory, Dr. Riepe worked in the laboratories of Nicholas Ingolia and Jacob Corn at the University of California, Berkeley, where she investigated ribosome remodeling after Cas9-mediated genome editing, and she was awarded her PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley in 2019. Dr. Riepe is a recipient of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Path to a Cure Postdoctoral Fellowship, the Elizabeth Nash Memorial Fellowship, the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, and the Shurl and Kay Curci Foundation Fellowship.
