Alaa Abdelghani, MD (she/her/hers)

University of California San Francisco

Dr. Alaa Abdelghani, MBBS, is a third-year fellow in pediatric gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of California, San Francisco. She has been awarded both the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 1st and 2nd year Fellowship Grant and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Research Grant. Her current research is dedicated to improving screening practices for cystic fibrosis-associated liver disease and utilizing implementation science to address gaps in these screening practices.
