Since January 2000, Ineke Braakman is Professor of Cellular Protein Chemistry at Utrecht University in The Netherlands. After a PhD in Pharmacology from Groningen University (NL) and a post-doc in Cell Biology in the lab of Ari Helenius at Yale University (USA) she established her own laboratory in the Biochemistry Department chaired by Henk Tabak at the Academic Medical Center of University of Amsterdam, first as fellow from the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences, later as Associate Professor.
