Christopher Vélez,MD is an Assistant in Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and is the Assistant Program Director of the Advanced Fellowship and Functional and Gastrointestinal Motility Disorders at MGH GI. He has established GI clinical programs at the MGH Chelsea Health Center and in the MGH Adult CF Center.

CF-related gastrointestinal disorders
Multidisciplinary partnership with foregut surgeons via the MGH Swallowing, Heartburn, and Esophageal Disorders (SHED) Center.

Characterizing GI sensorimotor dysfunction in CF-related diabetes
Digestive health disease burden in LGBTQIA+ populations and social determinants of health associated with quality of life or symptom severity
