West of Scotland Adult CF Unit, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow
Lisa is the Principal Physiotherapist at the West of Scotland Adult CF Centre in Glasgow. She has worked in CF care for 29 years encompassing both paediatric and adult care. She is responsible for the team of five CF physiotherapists providing holistic care for the 340+ patients attending a Regional Adult CF unit in Glasgow with direct responsibility for their physiotherapy management from transition through to terminal care. She is the physiotherapy clinical lead for the CF/respiratory unit and manages and supervises the care of the complex respiratory patients. She has developed a research forum within the CF physiotherapy department and participated in successful teaching of junior members of staff. Lisa has participated in the development of local, national and international guidelines into various aspects of CF care. Lisa is an author, co-author and editor of CF physiotherapy Cochrane reviews. She was the previous Chair of the NTM physiotherapy special interest group and coontributed to NTM national standards of care as part of a multi-disciplinary team approach. Lisa is currently undertaking a PhD – Exploring the role of digital health technologies to support the future care of people living with CF.
