Dr. Finn Hawkins MB BCh, Associate Professor at Boston University Medical Center, is a physician-scientist focused on the molecular mechanisms of lung regeneration including the leveraging the stem cell properties of airway basal cells for cell-based gene-therapies. Dr. Hawkins is an Associate Professor of Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine physician, and director of the Interstitial Lung Disease clinic at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Hawkins completed medical school, internal medicine training and fellowship training at the University of Galway (Ireland), Mayo Clinic (Rochester MN) and Boston University, respectively. Dr. Hawkins long term vision is to develop curative strategies for individuals with genetic lung diseases.
