University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix
Dr. Jennifer Nelson is an Internal Medicine and Pediatrics trained Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine coming from the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. She currently serves as an Associate Program Director in the Med-Peds program at the same institution. In her clinical roles, Dr. Nelson is actively involved in both inpatient and outpatient care in internal medicine at Banner University Medical Center- Phoenix and in the general pediatrics and adolescent clinics at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Dr. Nelson's professional interests include resident and early career medical educator development, adolescent medicine, transitions of care, and enhancing the treatment of patients with cystic fibrosis in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Nelson completed her undergraduate education at Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts. She is delighted to be back visiting Massachusetts for this conference. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with her spouse and two young children. Dr. Nelson's hobbies include running, baking, exploring new cuisines, and traveling.
