Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center of Central Texas
Christi Woods is a nurse practitioner with the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center of Central Texas.
She received her Bachelors of Nursing from Angelo State University in 2017. She completed her Master’s Degree in Nursing with an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2020. She completed her post-graduate certification for Psychiatric Mental Health nurse practitioner at West Texas A&M University in 2024.
Christi started her career in cystic fibrosis working on the respiratory unit at Dell Children’s Medical Center. She joined the outpatient cystic fibrosis care team as the coordinator for the pediatric program in 2016. After obtaining her MSN with an acute care NP degree, she joined the adult CF program in 2021 where she sees patients in the outpatient clinics and in the inpatient units. She is actively involved in research and quality improvement.
Christi lives with her family on a small ranch outside of Burnet, Texas.
