Dr. Litvin is an endocrinologist with an interest in cystic fibrosis-related diabetes (CFRD), post-transplant diabetes, diabetes control in pregnancy, and bone health in patients with CF. In 2015, Dr. Litvin and Dr. Daniel Rosenbuth, the director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at Washington University School of Medicine, started a combined cystic fibrosis/CFRD clinic to provide comprehensive care to patients with CF. Dr. Litvin received the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Envision Grant (2016-2019), which helped support her clinical research and patient care delivery. Dr. Litvin has also done work looking at the evolving nutritional needs in patients with CF in the era of highly effective modulator therapies and has participated in the creation of post-transplant patient care guidelines, which also address the endocrine aspects of care of patients with cystic fibrosis post-lung transplant.
