Dr. Alicia Mirza is an Assistant Professor in the Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Division at Stanford University and serves as the Associate Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program. Her academic pursuits in CF began during her residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Mirza is a recipient of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation PACE award and has contributed to the field as a sub-investigator in multiple CF clinical trials at Stanford. She has published on a range of CF topics, with a focus on leveraging digital health technologies to optimize patient communication and education. Her clinical interests include the pathophysiological overlap between asthma and cystic fibrosis, including how asthma therapies can be best utilized in CF. Through her work, Dr. Mirza aims to enhance therapeutic strategies and improve outcomes for individuals with cystic fibrosis.
