Han-I is a postdoctoral researcher studying CFTR structure/function in the Dalton Cardiovascular Reasearch Center at University of Missouri, USA. She also holds an adjunct assistant professor position at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University in Taiwan. When she was a medical student ten years ago, she participated in a summer internship in Dr. Hwang Tzyh-Chang's electrophysiology lab at University of Missouri, where she started her journey in studying the culprit of cystic fibrosis–CFTR chloride channel. In 2016, she decided to pursue a PhD in the department of medical pharmacology and physiology, focusing on the molecular pharmacology of CFTR. She graduated in 2019 and continue her research on the structural-functional mechanisms of CFTR and CFTR modulators as a postdoc researcher.
