Traci M. Kazmerski, MD, MS (she/her) is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine. She is a pediatric pulmonologist and health services researcher at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and serves as the Chair of the institutional Transition Task Force and Training Director of the Department of Pediatrics T32 Research Training Program for Pediatric Subspecialty Fellows. Her research centers on the improvement of comprehensive health care for adolescents and young adults with pediatric-onset chronic disease. As Vice Chair of the CF Foundation Therapeutics Development Network Sexual Health, Reproduction, and Gender Research (SHARING) Working Group, her current projects focus on improving the sexual and reproductive health care of people with cystic fibrosis (CF), better understanding the impact of parenthood on those with CF, and exploring the interplay of having CF and being from the LGBTQIA+ community.
