Lauren Tate, RD, LD has been a clinical dietitian for the past 19 years. She is currently a dietitian at both the Pediatric Cystic Fibrosis Clinic at the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital of Maine and the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at Maine Medical Center. Lauren joined the adult clinic in 2014 and the pediatric clinic in 2019.
Lauren has a degree in Culinary Nutrition from Johnson and Wales University in Providence Rhode Island where she graduated summa cum laude and completed her didactic program and the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey. In addition she completed the Clinical Scholars Program at Maine Medical Center.
As an inpatient clinical dietitian at Maine Medical Center Lauren discovered her passion for working with the cystic fibrosis community. She has been involved in numerous CF focused research projects and has presented at both NACFC and the Nutrition and Social Work Consortium.
