Dr Malcolm, PhD is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at National Jewish Health. He graduated from the University of California Santa Barbara with a degree in Pharmacolog, and attended graduate school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Department of Pharmacology. Following post-docs at Vanderbilt University and the Universite de Nice, he returned to Colorado to National Jewish Health. His current work involves host-pathogen interaction of CF pathogens and immune cells with a focus on nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) and neutrophils. Additional work involves NTM microbiology, animal models of infection, and evaluation of antimicrobials.
