Dr Brenda Button a senior clinical physiotherapist in the Dept. of Respiratory Medicine at Alfred Health, Melbourne, Australia and an adjunct clinical associate professor at MOnash University, Melbourne has been privileged to work in Cystic Fibrosis from newborn screening through childhood, adolescence and adulthood over the past three decades. She is an accredited instructor of modern airway clearance therapy learning from the originators of evidence based techniques. Her research contribution includes airway clearance therapy, effects on gastro-oesophageal function, exercise and exercise testing, continence in women and men with lung disease, adherence, use of mucolytic agents and quality of life. She has published more than 60 peer reviewed studies.
