Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Maryland and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Marymount University. She has been at Johns Hopkins Hospital and working with adults with cystic fibrosis since 2011. She has presented nationally on the quality improvement, role of physical therapists in cystic fibrosis care, and airway clearance. She is her CF center’s Quality Improvement Leader and in 2016 she was awarded the American Physical Therapy Association’s Emerging Leader Award. Additionally, she has authored and edited chapters in a physical therapy textbook on the topics of the pulmonary system and airway clearance.
