Linda C. Cummings, MD, MS is a gastroenterologist at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and Louis Stokes Cleveland Veterans Affairs Medical Center and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology. She completed medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and internal medicine residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. During her gastroenterology fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, she obtained a master’s degree in clinical research from Case Western Reserve University. Her clinical interests include cystic fibrosis, H. pylori, and colorectal cancer screening. She was one of the second set of recipients of the DIGEST award from the CF Foundation to gain expertise in the gastrointestinal care of persons with CF. She has served as a speaker or moderator at the North American Cystic Fibrosis Conference over the past few years and was a content expert on cancer screening in cystic fibrosis for ResearchCon 2022. She is a site principal investigator for the NICE-CF study on noninvasive colorectal cancer screening in cystic fibrosis.
