Kristina Mertz, LICSW, is the social worker and mental health coordinator for both the pediatric and adult clinics at the Providence Medical Group (PMG) Cystic Fibrosis Center in Spokane, WA. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from Belmont University in Nashville, TN, and attended Baylor University Garland School of Social Work in Houston, TX to earn her Master of Social Work with a clinical practice specialization. During her time at Baylor University, Kristina had the chance to complete her Master-level social work practicum at the Baylor College of Medicine Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center. Kristina was excited about the chance to continue her career in CF by joining the PMG CF Center in August 2020, where she provides case management and mental health care to patients and their families. Kristina also supports the PMG Pediatric Pulmonology Clinic and PMG Cleft Lip and Palate Clinic. In her free time, Kristina enjoys exploring the great outdoors of the Pacific Northwest, traveling with her loved ones, and a good cup of coffee.
