Dr. Grant Turner is a physician at University of California Los Angeles, specializing in cystic fibrosis and lung transplantation. He is the Associate Program Director of the UCLA Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center. His interests are in clinical research and patient safety/quality improvement.
Dr. Turner grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and completed his undergraduate degree at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. He completed his medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center with induction into the graduate honor society for his masters thesis. He completed his internal medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA with honors in medical education. He then completed his pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at UNMC. He also received his Master's in Health Administration at UNMC, focusing on patient safety and quality.
Dr. Turner is an Assistant Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine, an active member of the CHEST and American Thoracic Society and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
