Cynthia George, MSN, FNP is the Senior Director of Partnerships for Sustaining Daily Care at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). The program promotes an holistic approach to addressing the challenges of sustaining CF treatments with everyday life. The program includes the Success with Therapies Research Consortium (STRC), the Leadership and Education for Advanced Practice Providers Fellowship Program (LEAPP) and the Partnership Enhancement Program (PEP).
She has extensive experience leading change as a Family Nurse Practitioner in pediatric and adult healthcare settings. Over the past two decades her main area of practice focused on adults living with cystic fibrosis (CF) in which she played a key role in establishing an adult CF program in Washington, DC. In 2008, she joined CFF leading national efforts with the Therapeutics Development Network (TDN) to harness the power of collaborative work between care teams and people and families with CF to promote a culture of research at CF care centers across the U.S.
