Dr. Sage Dunham is a CF Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow in the lab of Prof. Katrine Whiteson at UC Irvine. Sage is researching novel bacteriophage based therapeutic strategies for treating antibiotic resistant infections in people with CF, and studying the microbial and metabolic ecology of CF airways. Sage earned his PhD in Chemistry from UIUC, where he developed mass spectrometry imaging-based technologies for studying chemical communication in microbial communities.
